From timeless tartan to wearable art, vintage interweaves limitless self-expression into a global community with an everlasting impact on modern culture.
World Design
Clothes tell a story. They speak to their origin; they harken back to earlier decades, to times of joy, change, and challenge. Garments reflect global movements; they mirror time and place. They speak to the evolution of style.
Time-travel through episodes shot in Nice, Miami, New York, Montreal, and New Orleans, as we interview and observe a cadre of curators, stylists, models, historians, and photographers, discovering how vintage fashion is unique to each place as it expresses the beauty of its people. We’ll watch them put together collections, take us behind the scenes, show us fortuitous sketches, and discuss the milestones, timeless classics, and icons of fashion. We not only hear their perspectives, but we enjoy a big reveal at every turn, interspersed with profiles on standout pieces.
In a visually stunning journey set against iconic cosmopolitan backdrops, we pose the claim that the future of fashion may very well be vintage, and the power of community that surrounds it can uplift and inspire us all.
